When I left Guinea in 1986, I had no idea that I would live in Ukraine. And I knew absolutely nothing about this country, but for the fact that it was one of 15 republics which constituted the USSR. Being fluent in French and English, in Russian I could pronounce one word only "pereryv" (a break).
